DATA ENTRY CLERK-PART TIME

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk with a proven track record of maintaining accuracy and efficiency in fast-paced environments. Skilled in managing large volumes of data, verifying information for completeness, and ensuring error-free entry into various database systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet management, and data management software, with strong typing speed and attention to detail. Adept at meeting tight deadlines while upholding quality standards, and committed to supporting team productivity through reliable and precise data handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and movement of materials between facilities within the ERP system.
- Support Business Process Manager in processing bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and work order data.
- Verify production data against source documents (customer specifications, shop floor blueprints, inventory count logs, shipping/receiving, and acceptance records).
- Assist with maintaining item master data, part numbers, and customer product specifications.
- Generate production and inventory reports for management as needed.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, and Sales departments to ensure accuracy of data.
- Monitor data integrity and report errors/discrepancies to Business Process Manager.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to United Precision Corporation:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred
- 1 to 3 years of data entry experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with ERP systems.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside a warehouse and office to access files, office/warehouse machinery, etc.
- Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculators, copy machines, and printers.
- Must be able to operate manufacturing and engineering machinery such as lapping, CNC lathe, and milling machines, etc.
- Occasionally positions self to maintain manufacturing and engineering machinery, including under work stations.
- Frequently move raw and treated materials weighing up to 50 pounds across the warehouse for various purposes, as needed.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in an office/warehouse environment, with frequent interruptions and irregular work schedules. No special coordination beyond those used for normal mobility, handling of everyday objects and materials, and use of office equipment is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

Job Type: Part Time-20 hours a week
Pay: $22.77 – $25.30 per hour
