Job Title: Data Entry Clerk | Department: Information Technology | Reports to: Business Process Manager | FLSA: Non-Exempt

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk with a proven track record of maintaining accuracy and efficiency in fast-paced environments. Skilled in managing large volumes of data, verifying information for completeness, and ensuring error-free entry into various database systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet management, and data management software, with strong typing speed and attention to detail. Adept at meeting tight deadlines while upholding quality standards, and committed to supporting team productivity through reliable and precise data handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and movement of materials between facilities within the ERP system.
  • Support Business Process Manager in processing bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and work order data.
  • Verify production data against source documents (customer specifications, shop floor blueprints, inventory count logs, shipping/receiving, and acceptance records).
  • Assist with maintaining item master data, part numbers, and customer product specifications.
  • Generate production and inventory reports for management as needed.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, and Sales departments to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Monitor data integrity and report errors/discrepancies to Business Process Manager.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to United Precision Corporation:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred

  • 1 to 3 years of data entry experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.

No special coordination beyond those used for normal mobility, handling of everyday objects and materials, and use of office equipment is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

Inventory Control Specialist

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

As our Inventory Control Specialist, you will be the guardian of our supply chain accuracy—ensuring that every bolt, bracket, and precision-machined part is exactly where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. Your attention to detail helps us stay on schedule, avoid costly delays, and meet aerospace and defense quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using our ERP/MRP system (e.g., Epicor, SAP, or similar).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure materials are available for scheduled builds and assemblies.
  • Monitor shelf-life and storage requirements for sensitive aerospace materials, including controlled and serialized parts.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for government compliance, ITAR regulations, and customer audits.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support kitting operations for assembly lines, ensuring all required parts are staged and verified before production.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to United Precision Corporation:

Required

  • 3+ years of inventory control or materials management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, and other aerospace/defense compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-stakes environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a manufacturing floor environment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain Management, or related field

Quality Inspector

QUALITY INSPECTOR

Job Title: Quality Inspector | Department: Quality | Reports to: Quality Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The quality inspector will ensure that the parts comply with the required specifications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment and provide the highest work ethic. This position is technical and requires a basic understanding of measurements. Experience working in the A&D industry is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete visual inspections and dimensional measurements using comparators, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measurement devices
  • Observe, collect, summarize, and report quality data, including in-process rejections
  • Assist with problem-solving and trouble-shooting activities and follow up on RMA open actions
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and CAD models with a basic understanding of (GD&T)
  • Create AS9102 First Article Inspection reports
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Adhere to safety standards and demonstrate safe operating practices daily
  • Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001)
